Have you ever drove by a place and said to yourself I should go there and then you never went again. Well, here are some Historical places to visit in our own NH!!

The Weeks Estate Home

This is a Weeks Estate picture showing the home of John Wingate Weeks. He was born in Lancaster, NH in 1860 and died in the home in 1926. Across from the home on the historical site is a stone fire tower which you are aloud to go in and see it is being maintained by the N.H Division of Forest and Lands.

The Wright Museum

This is the Wright Museum located in Wolfeboro. It is a wonderful museum full of history from World War 11.

The Castle in the Clouds

This is the Castle in the Clouds located in Moultonborough, NH. It is a sixteen room home with wonderful views of the mountains perfect for wedding receptions, school tours and an enjoyable place to visit with your family.

The Woodman Institute Museum

This is the Woodman Institute Museum located in Dover, NH. It is a wonderful museum with enclosed figures and amazing history. It offers school tours and family visits. Behind the museum is a preserved 1675 home owned by William Damm Garrison.

Aviation Museum of New Hampshire

This is the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire located in Manchester. It offers a large selection of aviation history from NH and has many models of planes, ships and any type of flying instruments.
